Apprentice - Business Administrator (Level 3) job summary
Costessey Primary School, part of the Evolution Academy Trust, are hiring a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice.
This is an opportunity to join the administration team at an exciting point in our school's journey, as we develop 2 new roles within the established team.

Our successful apprentice will develop their competencies in:
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems - including social media, the school website, Arbor (our management information system), PiXl (our in-school assessment system) and other in-school software to support teaching and learning.
- Produce accurate records and documents - including developing alongside the Headteacher new approaches to community communication, including through the school newsletter, other forms of communication and social media content.
- Make recommendations for improvements - within the scope of the job role
- Interpersonal skills - with staff, parents, children and the wider school community

The job is on a fixed-term contract (for the duration of the Apprenticeship: approx 12 - 18 months) and on completion of the Apprenticeship, the successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Apprenticeship. The working hours are 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with 20% of the working hours dedicated to off the job and Apprenticeship training time. The pay rate is minimum apprenticeship wage, depending on the age of the successful apprentice.

Collaboration and teamwork are at the heart of this role. The post holder must work closely with all members of the school community, demonstrating integrity, setting high expectations for themselves and others, and upholding standards of care for children, staff, parents, and the community.
