What skills and experience we're looking for

At City College Norwich we have seen an influx in demand for Higher Apprentices in the Engineering field. To help support and prepare these apprentices for industry we are looking to recruit an Apprenticeship Assessor to support the apprentices through their programme and in to gateway and through to EPA, enabling a bridge between their academic studies and their work place experiences and assessment.

The successful candidate will have a case load of apprentices, to regularly meet with them and employers, to run workshops (1 a term per group), track their progress, review off the job hours, support, guide and build a portfolio of evidence and develop a Standard operating procedures, as they work towards completing the apprenticeship, support them through Gateway and EPA.

The role would be the equivalent to two a days a week, to be worked flexibly throughout the week (Monday-Friday).
