What we are looking for:
Southfields Multi-Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Teacher of Art and Design Technology. The Teacher of Art and DT will deliver a relevant and differentiated curriculum and monitor and support overall progress of students as a teacher and form tutor from September of 2025. The successful candidate will be a team player with a flexible and positive approach, organised, creative and have a passion for the subject area. We are looking for someone who is not only keen to promote the subject around the school but who is also dedicated to improving the lives of our young people.
The successful candidate will be able to teach across the ability and age range, and with experience in applying knowledge of the assessment criteria in Art qualifications across Key Stages 4 and 5.
This would suit an ECT or experienced teacher.

Subjects within Art, Design & Technology are very popular at Key Stage 4 and are becoming increasingly popular at Key Stage 5, with a number of students going on to study various design subjects at some of the country’s top universities and art schools.
The department prides itself on its innovation and excellence in moving practice on to support student development and are looking for a candidate who is willing to contribute to this evolution.
