Art Mentor job summary

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Mentor to support our well-established and successful Creative Arts department in a secondary school setting. The department offers a broad and engaging curriculum including Art, Photography and Graphics, providing students with a rich range of creative opportunities.

This role will involve working with small groups of students to develop their confidence, skills and creativity, providing targeted support where needed. The successful candidate will also contribute to the smooth running of the department by assisting with the organisation and ordering of materials and resources.

In addition, the role includes providing occasional cover for staff absence and supporting the preparation and clearing away of practical lessons, ensuring a safe, well-organised and inspiring learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for art and education who enjoys working closely with young people and being part of a collaborative team.
