Hours & Pay
Pay Scale: BR6 SP 17 FTE £27,262 pa (£11,850 pa actual)
Hours: 18.75 hours per week - 38 weeks per year
Hours: 2.45pm - 6.30 pm Monday to Friday term time plus four weeks of holiday club (1 week in Oct half term, one week in Easter holiday and two weeks in the Summer). The additional four weeks holiday club hours can either be fully claimed for or some of the hours can be taken off in term time and some hours claimed for.
About the role
To fully deputise the After School Club manager over both schools but will be based at the Infant school site. To take the lead as DSL and provide medical needs of children in the club.
You must hold a DfE approved NVQ L3 Early Years qualification https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england. You must also work off your own initiative and be a well organised, friendly and outgoing individual who enjoys working with children and working in a team. You would be joining our existing well established team of Play Workers in providing a fun and safe environment for all the children that attend.

You should:
- be committed to ensuring a safe and fun environment for children
- be first aid trained or willing to undertake training
- be able to work as part of a team
- hold a DfE approved NVQ L3 Early Years qualification
- have a willingness to undertake training as required, to include DSL and First Aid and other training as required
- be able to communicate well with children and adults
- have a good sense of humour
