We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly and ensure everyone enjoys a positive, seamless experience.
As part of our catering team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining clean, organised kitchen spaces and preparing crockery, cutlery, and meals to support busy service times.

What will you do?
- To prepare all types of food in line with kitchen requirements or to pack meals as needed
- Operate within a team of permanent, part time and flexible staff in the unit, ensuring that the manufacturing service is successfully delivered consistently to the required standard on a daily basis.
- Assist in all aspects of the day to day duties in the kitchen and ensure that the required catering service is successfully delivered on a daily basis. This includes working as an effective team member.
- Participate in ensuring the smooth running of all operations.

- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen health and safety
- The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
- Ability to follow strict instructions in a systematic and consistent manner
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
