What skills and experience we're looking for
Northern Education Trust, Farringdon Community Academy is seeking to appoint an Assistant Cook to work in the academy canteen. The main duties of the role will be to support the Chef Manager with the preperation of breakfast, break, lunch and hospitality services according to requirements
Main Responsibilities:
- To maintain the highest possible standards of customer service to students, staff and visitors.
- To carry out instructions received from Assistant Cook/Chef Manager.
- To complete basic food preparation & cooking e.g. sandwiches, salads, vegetables.
- Wash dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables and all other catering equipment in the dining and service areas
- To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations is adhered to at all times.
