About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and well-being? Gunthorpe Primary School are seeking a caring, enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner to join our friendly team in our vibrant school community. You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of our preschool, as well as supporting classroom learning.

Within this role you will work 30 hours per week 09:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday term time only, 38 weeks per academic year

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

As our new Childcare Practitioner, you will be:

Assisting qualified staff with EYFS delivery and daily routines

Supervising children during play and supporting personal care

Leading fun and engaging activities in breakfast and after-school clubs

Helping to set up, tidy, and maintain learning environments

Conducting observations and supporting record-keeping

Ensuring a safe and nurturing setting for all children
