Assistant Head of Faculty - Science (2nd in Science) job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to support the Head of Faculty and actively contribute to the development of the Science department, ensuring that each pupil is positively encouraged to develop their potential to the full. The Assistant Head of Faculty - Science will be expected to work closely with colleagues in the Science departments and across other curriculum areas. Part time hours will also be considered.
You will have:
Experience or aspirations to take your first leadership role, supporting the HoF in leading a forward thinking and innovative science team.
The best interests of the students at the centre of everything you do.
Excellent communication skills, be confident with technology: someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents.
Excellent organisational skills, a good sense of humour and a commitmnet to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life.
A relentless focus on supporting HoF in leading the department to ensure our students are given opportunities for success both in and beyond the classroom.

Mount Grace School (Potters Bar, Hertfordshire) was one of the first purpose built mixed comprehensive schools in the country and occupies 17 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.
