Hodgson Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Head of Physical Education to join our thriving department. - Delivering engaging and inspiring PE lessons, alongside leading targeted interventions to support student progress and attainment
- Planning creative, high‑quality lessons while supporting and guiding colleagues in curriculum development and the sharing of best practice
- Using stretch and challenge to promote resilience, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of physical performance, health, and wellbeing across the department
- Leading and developing enrichment activities and extra‑curricular opportunities that increase participation in sport and physical activity
- Modelling and promoting the highest standards of attitudes, values, and behaviours, supporting a positive culture of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship across the department
