Assistant head of year for 6th form job summary
Highlands sixth form has been on a transformational journey. Recent, rapid growth in the numbers of students wishing to come to our sixth form means we are expanding our team. We are looking for the right person who can make a substantial difference to the lives of our sixth form students and their contributions to whole school life. This is an exciting time to join the sixth form team as we seek to scale up our provision, maintain our excellent outcomes and ensure all students achieve their preferred destinations. We seek to be the sixth form destination of choice for students in the borough and we are excited about this next phase of improvement.
Highlands is an ‘Outstanding’ school (OFSTED 2011, 2014 and 2024) at which students consistently outperform national expectations in terms of both attainment and progress.
