What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for An ambitious, friendly, confident, competent, capable and experienced senior leader. Someone who has proven experience in leading others at a senior leadership level, someone who can inspire and form strong positive relationships with colleagues. Someone who is solution focused, innovative and can instigate sustainable systems and processes to facilitate more efficient leadership at all levels.
They will :
- Have consistently outstanding practice with proven expertise in teaching pupils with autism
- Be an outstanding professional who is ambitious for the pupils, the school and themselves
- Has experience as a Senior Leader (AHT, DHT, HT) in a similar setting
- Have experience of leading the Quality of an Area either as the lead or part of a team focused on improving standards
- Be engaged in higher level continued professional development
- Acknowledge, mentor and promote the excellent practice of others
- Challenge staff to achieve their best
- Carry out whole school leadership roles including CPD, curriculum development and student progress
- Have experience of supporting and developing none specialist school professionals with their autism practices
- Have experience using data to set aspirational targets and measuring staff performance against these targets
- Willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of the school
