Assistant Headteacher job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join this successful 11-18 standalone Academy. We are an ambitious, forward thinking and inclusive school, with high expectations in everything we do. We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who shares the school's vision and values, to join our team.

It is likely that the successful candidate will have line management responsibility for curriculum areas; take a lead role in the development of the broader curriculum and entitlement; as well as being the SLT lead for one of our Heads of School in our unique ‘smaller schools’ pastoral system. However, as this opportunity has come about due to the expansion of the leadership team, the specific portfolio for the successful candidate will be determined by the skillset, experience and attributes, of the successful candidate. For us, getting the right person for our Academy and our team, is our number one priority.
