What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governing Body of Aston School is seeking to appoint an inspirational, committed and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to support the Headteacher in delivering a vision for outstanding achievement, both within the curriculum and beyond, in a culture which embodies our core values of honesty, kindness, diligence and integrity.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to make a significant contribution to our school improvement plan, both at strategic and operational level. Importantly, the successful candidate will be a developing leader and an exceptional team player who thrives in a hard-working, yet compassionate environment.
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Headteacher who:
- Has a good range of relevant teaching experience;
- Has a passion for school improvement but has the respect to uphold our core school values;
- Has the ability to set new agendas and lead with innovative ideas;
- Has the ability to learn from others and the tenacity to get things done;
- Will be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school;
- Has the strategic vision to motivate and inspire learning and educational excellence;
- Is committed to welfare and safeguarding.
