Dove Bank Primary School is a thriving, one form entry, rural (4-11) primary school with 147 children on roll located in the picturesque village of Nailstone. The school also serves the nearby catchment areas of Bagworth and Battram from where many children arrive at school by bus.
The school is a modern building that was built in 1982, extended further in 2004 and then again in 2019 to cater for increased housing being built in the local area. The school is set in extensive grounds which include a large playing field, outdoor stage and wildlife area
that all children enjoy. The school has a small playground and outdoor area connected to the Key Stage 1 classroom and a larger playground where Key Stage 2 children are able to
play together. Foundation Stage has a purpose built outdoor learning environment which is well used to enhance children’s learning.
Dove Bank is a very happy and friendly school which has a caring family ethos. Children enjoy coming to school and can confidently talk about what they are learning.
Dove Bank joined LiFE Multi-Academy Trust in September 2022 and has formed a strong partnership with Braunstone Frith Primary Academy and many leaders work across both schools.
