Assistant Headteacher job summary

The Governors of Ryelands Primary & Nursery School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join our effective leadership team and dedicated school staff. We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to complement our leadership team, with the same drive and commitment to raising standards, to providing the very best provision for pupils and with a real desire to make a difference. We wish to appoint an outstanding teacher who can lead by example and who can work alongside the leadership team to drive improvements with focus and care for individuals and the community. The Assistant Headteacher will: • be an exemplary KS2 teacher • lead a KS2 phase (either LKS2 or UKS2 Team Leader) • be a core subject leader (either English or Mathematics) • lead on Teaching and Learning Please refer to the attached letter, job description and person specification for more detailed information about the post.
