The Role

Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for guiding and nurturing students as they navigate their educational journey? If so, we invite you to join our vibrant and welcoming school community as a member of our Senior Leadership Team. This role is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and play a key role in their growth and development. You would join a thriving pastoral team who can demonstrate positive outcomes and significant impact. We have high expectations of our students both personally and academically and this role is an essential part of reaching those goals. The team comprises of 5 Head of Years, several support staff (including an inclusion lead, a safeguarding lead, an attendance officer and various mentors) and is led by two assistant Headteachers working in collaboration.

We can provide a level of flexibility in relation to key responsibilities; as a guide, the current AHT is responsible for KS3 and Safeguarding. We are not advertising a subject specialism for this role; the candidates' pastoral expertise and track record is our priority. We will discuss teacher’s specialism in more detail at interview and would be looking for evidence of a successful track record in the classroom.
