Assistant Headteacher & SENDCO job summary
The governing body wishes to appoint a hard-working, talented, enthusiastic and committed teacher to passionately lead our provision for SEND pupils. The successful candidate will either hold the professional SENDCO qualification or be committed to complete the qualification upon appointment to the post.
We are looking for a caring and motivated practitioner who:-
• Is keen and enthusiastic to be involved in all aspects of school development
• Is committed to inclusion and high aspirations for all pupils
• Is an exemplary teacher with a proven record of delivering high quality teaching and learning to Key Stage One and/or Early Years pupils
• Will work well as both part of a team and as a leader, enthusing and motivating staff
• Can communicate effectively with children, parents and governors
• Has energy and a sense of humour
• Will embrace the aims of our school – ‘Achieve Well, Aim High, Have Fun’!
