Our long-standing, dedicated and well respected Headteacher is retiring. Parkdale Primary School, a member school of Transform Trust, is seeking an inspirational, visible leader who has presence, is ambitious and puts children at the heart of their decision making. A leader who recognises the value in the significant achievements we’ve already acquired but wants to extend and build on them taking Parkdale to the next level. Our standards are high, our staff team are experienced and skilled. Parkdale is a two-form entry school with a waiting list in most year groups, including a busy and popular Nursery. We are an active school where we believe in learning through movement and learning healthy habits for life. Our community is our strength and we celebrate our diversity.

We are looking for a headteacher who will:  

  • Be hands-on with an open-door approach and an active presence around school.
  • Know our community and the context it serves.
  • Have ambition for all children to achieve the highest standards.
  • Have experience of leading people, developing their expertise and holding to account.
  • Have proven senior leadership experience within a primary school.
  • Be visionary and creative, leading with honesty and integrity.

·       Communicate confidently with all members of the school community.

·       Take time to get to know all children and staff in order to maximise their potential in a supportive way.
