Assistant Headteacher - Teaching and Learning job summary

At Bridlington School, we believe that exceptional teaching changes lives.

We are seeking an ambitious, innovative and highly effective leader to take the lead on Teaching and Learning.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced middle or senior leader who is passionate about developing teachers, improving classroom practice and ensuring every student receives the highest quality education.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our vision for teaching and learning, ensuring that evidence-informed practice is at the heart of everything we do.

Working alongside the Quality of Education team, you will lead whole-school improvement strategies that develop teaching expertise, enhance curriculum implementation and secure excellent outcomes for all our students.

The Team

You will join the Senior Leadership Team as the 8th member, but you will also have an extensive Quality of Education team to work with. This includes a Director for Teaching and Learning supporting with the operations, a teaching and learning coordinator who supports with mentoring of teaching staff and 3 Lead Practitioners who support numeracy, literacy and ECTs.
