What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Responsibilities

  • Whole-School Leadership: Lead the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of teaching and learning policies and practice across the school to ensure consistently high standards.
  • Pedagogical Modelling: Take direct teaching responsibility for the lowest-ability pupils within English and Mathematics, demonstrating strong practice and robust intervention strategies.
  • Staff Development: Lead high-impact professional development, mentoring and instructional coaching to support and empower teachers across all faculties.
  • Curriculum & Impact: Work collaboratively with Heads of Faculty and area and subject leaders to ensure the curriculum is effectively adapted and scaffolded for all pupils, tracking pupil data to ensure vulnerable groups make appropriate progress in order to reduce attainment and gaps between groups.
