Assistant Headteacher job summary

Assistant headteacher - there are two available roles. Working with the Headteacher you will complete strategic planning and day to day management of Teaching, Learning and Assessment. In addition you will act as a member of the Academy’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and actively contribute to the overall Leadership and Management of the Academy, including providing a curriculum that inspires learning and enjoyment in a safe environment, promote respect, honesty, communication and teamwork throughout the Academy As a member of SLT you will actively participate in the daily management of the Academy maintaining a good presence around the Academy throughout the day. The role could focus on either primary or secondary department.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
