What skills and experience we're looking for

September 2025 start

The Assistant Headteacher, Inclusion and Therapeutic Interventions will work closely with the Leadership team to drive forward the vision and strategic development for therapies, interventions and inclusion. The successful candidate will have strategic overview for the Educational Psychology service, CAMHS, CAMHS LD and Mental Health support, and for communications with CYPIT and the Sensory Consortium.

You will have oversight for pupils accessing alternative provisions as part of a whole education provision, whilst working alongside senior colleagues and DSL. You will be the Designated Teacher for CLA and PLAC children and will have a key responsibility for the Support & Review Process.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, an inspiring teacher with proven experience of therapeutic support, interventions and inclusion. You will also demonstrate experience of implementing initiatives at a strategic level as well as being a good communicator and a proactive team member. Pupil contact time to be discussed at interview.
