Assistant Headteacher job summary
The Headteacher and Governors of The Epiphany School are looking for an inspirational teacher who is passionate about leading teaching and learning as part of new and evolving senior leadership team.

We are looking to appoint someone who reflects the school’s high standards and is committed to ensuring that all pupils receive an education that allows them to fulfil their full potential and equips them for their next stages in learning and life.
We wish to appoint a Leader who has vision, ambition and a drive to positively impact on our children’s education. The appointed candidate will need to lead a strong staff team to maintain the highest standards of education and be able to add value to teaching and learning in line with research and best practice. They will also be required to promote good relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including parents, carers, staff, external professionals and governors.
We wish to appoint someone who:
• Has a desire to uphold and actively promote the school’s Christian vision and values
• Has a commitment to high expectations, high standards and research led educational thinking
• Is an excellent communicator who works well as part of a team
• Is committed to ongoing professional development
Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status.
