Assistant Headteacher job summary
The Assistant Headteacher will ideally be in place from September 2022, and will work closely with the Local Authority, the Local Governing Body, with CLPT Trust Board, and other Senior Leaders within the Trust to develop outstanding provision for children and families.
At a strategic level, you will be responsible for pupil premium, oversight of Maths curriculum and delivery, attendance, oversight of EHCP reviews and funding, plus 2-day teaching responsibility. You will also become a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) within our safeguarding team.
Essential criteria:
A degree or degree level equivalent qualification
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience of working with children with learning disabilities
Current full driving license
A commitment to promoting the safeguarding and well-being of children and young people
Experience of Leadership and management across a whole school setting
Extensive experience of curriculum design, implementation, and quality assurance processes
Commitment to safeguarding

Vale of Evesham School is part of Central Learning Partnership Trust. We cater for just over 185 pupils (200 including Nursery) with a range of cognition and learning difficulties, aged 2-19. The pupils are ably supported at all levels by just over 140 staff. Vale of Evesham School also incorporates a residential provision, known as ‘Blossom House’ that has 15 spaces for pupils who board with us, four nights a week, from Monday to Friday.
