The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and highly qualified person with proven leadership abilities to join the Senior Leadership Team of our thriving school community in the heart of Southampton.

Regents Park Community College is a mixed, 11-16, oversubscribed comprehensive school. It is part of the expansion project in Southampton and is due to grow to 900 students over the next two years. We have a strong ethos built on Respect, Pride, Creativity and Challenge where teaching and learning drives challenge for all students. The foundation of our behaviour systems is respect, where students are rewarded not only for their academic results but for their creative and community involvement. As a result, our students make above average progress. Our progress 8 scores of +0.36 ( 2018) and +0.53 ( 2017) provide inspiration for so many of our students to go on and achieve at colleges, universities and to successfully complete apprenticeships.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly restructured Senior Leadership Team with three vacancies at Assistant Headteacher level. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record as a leader with outstanding people management skills and the ability to work well under pressure. We are looking for individuals with innovative ideas and excellent organisation skills who will contribute to our Senior Leadership Team to continue to grow and fulfil our school development plan to be the best that we can be.
