George Salter Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Principal - Inclusion (SENDCo) who believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. As a key member of the academy’s Senior Leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a fully inclusive learning environment for all of our students, providing strategic leadership for inclusion, SEND and student support, ensuring that every learner - regardless of background or need - can fulfil their potential and achieve success in every aspect of school life.

The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for inclusive education with

• NPQ for SEND Co-ordinators
• Proven experience in leading SEND provision in a secondary setting
• The ability to inspire staff, students and families through excellent communication and a solution-focused approach
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and a commitment to ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed
• A genuine belief that inclusion is at the heart of effective education and a willingness to model this ethos across the school.
