Assistant SENCo and Community Hub Leader job summary
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for removing barriers to learning so that every child can achieve their potential. You must be driven to improve outcomes and have a relentless approach to raising standards. You must have a good knowledge of Special Educational Needs and previous experience of working within a mainstream or special setting.
You will work directly with the Senior Leadership Team, taking responsibility for the Special Educational Needs and safeguarding curriculum and needs for all pupils. You will continue to develop and manage the inclusive practice throughout the school and work with parents and outside agencies to promote pupils’ outcomes. You will be resilient, have excellent interpersonal skills, be emotionally intelligent and able to lead a successful team.
