Role Summary:
Pimperne Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Early Years Teacher.
This role involves enabling pupils to have a love of learning, feel safe and motivated to explore and learn to achieve their full learning potential, facilitating their personal, academic, social and moral development in the role of our Reception (EYFS) class teacher in our single form entry school. Please see the job description. An interest in DT or Computing would be desirable, but not essential. We are looking for the right person to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive person with experience or understanding of a range of SEND, as well as an awareness of children’s Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
We are seeking a professional individual who:
- Can demonstrate the passion, skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our children by ‘knowing’ the children in their care.
- Can be an ‘Emotionally Available Adult’ who can support the emotions of children, co-regulating to support their development, providing encouragement and reassurance.
- Is committed to teamwork in a friendly school with a child centred ethos.
- Wants to make a difference and knows tomorrow is a new day of opportunities.
- Is willing to learn as a reflective practitioner, develop school practice and be part of a team.

Pimperne Primary School is a single form entry village school that enjoys beautiful, rural surroundings near Blandford Forum in Dorset. We are an active participant in village life, with close links to the village church of St Peter's.
