Assisted Reintegration Classroom Supervisor job summary

You are:

  • A strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Calm, patient and resilient with the ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Well-organised and proactive with strong administrative and ICT skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

You will:

  • Supervise and manage students placed in the ARC, ensuring a calm, focused, and purposeful learning environment.
  • Set high expectations for behaviour, reinforcing the school’s behaviour policies and ensuring students adhere to them.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and progress while in the ARC.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and the pastoral team to ensure effective reintegration strategies are in place for students.
  • Encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and behaviour.
