The Governors are seeking to appoint an Associate Assistant Headteacher who will be Director of SEND Provision and Lead SENDCO. The postholder will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team and will lead on all aspects of inclusion for students with SEND, including line management of the Inclusion Team. This post is a new one within the school’s leadership structure, with appropriate seniority to reflect national changes and new expectations in this area.

  • Have the experience of teaching a full age and ability range
  • Have experience of leading SEND provision at senior or middle leadership level
  • Have appropriate SENDCO qualifications, either NASEN or NPQ, or be close to completing one of these.
