What skills and experience we're looking for
We would like to find someone who:
- Can carry out the role “with love” by showing nurture and care to all.
- Is proactive, flexible and hard working.
- Is organised and meticulous in their record keeping.
- Is good at building relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Can be resilient when dealing with challenge from pupils or parents.
- Has experience of working within schools.
- Has familiarity with attendance and safeguarding procedures within Birmingham.
- Is willing to undertake training

Flexible working opportunities
The role is 12 hours per week, these hours can be flexible as long as they are within the school week ie. 8.30-3.30 Monday-Friday.
For example this could be:
- 2 full days
- 4 hours spread over 3 days
- 2-3 hours every day
There is also scope for there to be flexibility week by week to fit around commitments outside of school.
