What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Be motivated and enthusiastic to drive school-wide initiatives
- Be keen to drive improvements through well thought out strategies and policies
- Be able to work closely with senior leaders and school governors to promote positive attendance
- Be able to foster positive relationships with families based on celebration and challenge
- Have an understanding of the wide range of needs that can be a barrier to academic, social and spiritual success
- Have a sound understanding of the current expectations of school attendance (including monitoring, reporting and accurate record keeping)
- Have a working understanding of school life and expectations
- Be willing to complete home visits, lead meetings and liaise with the Pastoral Team and other school partners
