35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 3.00pm (which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break), term time only
We are seeking to recruit, for September 2025, an Attendance & Safeguarding Officer to undertake duties associated with student attendance. Working with students, parents/carers, staff, and outside agencies to maintain schools’ attendance records to enhance learning and to contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people regarding the Keeping Children Safe in Education agenda.
The post is for 35 hours per week, term time only. The post will be remunerated on LGPS Grade 9, Pts 23-26 (£33,366 - £36,124) pro rata; (Actual: £27,708 - £29,998), which equates to £17.34 to £18.78 per hour, dependent on experience.
