About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented Attendance & SEND Administrator to join our team. This is a key role supporting attendance, SEND provision, and whole-school data processes.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in promoting excellent attendance, supporting pupils with additional needs, and providing high-quality data analysis to inform pupil progress and school improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Attendance

  • Monitor and record daily pupil attendance using the school’s MIS system (Bromcom)
  • Follow up on absences, including first-day calling procedures
  • Track attendance patterns and identify concerns
  • Produce attendance reports for senior leaders and external agencies
  • Support strategies to improve whole-school attendance

SEND Administration & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records and documentation
  • Support the SENDCo with administration, including EHCP paperwork and reviews
  • Coordinate SEND meetings, reviews, and events (including annual reviews and parent meetings)
  • Liaise with external professionals and agencies
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Data, Analysis & Reporting

  • Produce and analyse whole-school data to support pupil progress meetings
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports for senior leaders and teaching staff
  • Support tracking of pupil outcomes, including vulnerable groups and SEND pupils
  • Ensure accurate data entry and management across systems
  • Contribute to the school’s data cycle and assessment processes

General Administration

  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards at all times
  • Provide administrative support across the school where required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Is confident working with data, spreadsheets, and IT systems
  • Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Can analyse and present data clearly to support decision-making
  • Communicates effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Can manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Has an understanding of attendance processes and/or SEND (desirable)
  • Experience of Bromcom is not essential - full training will be provided
