What skills and experience we're looking for
About You:
Weavers Academy are seeking a caring, proactive, and organised individual to join our Attendance Team as an Attendance Support Assistant. You will be passionate about supporting young people and understand the important role attendance plays in student success.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. With a compassionate and professional approach, you will help remove barriers to attendance, provide effective support, and share our commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- A good level of education
- Driving licence and access to a car
- Experience of recording and reporting data
- Knowledge of the DfE requirements of school attendance
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding systems and processes

Working closely with students, families, pastoral staff and external agencies, we take a supportive and proactive approach to overcoming barriers to learning.
