BEBCMAT Finance Manager job summary
Salary Scale: Grade G (Point 25 – 28), currently £28,785 - £31,371 per annum
Contract type: Full Time for 37 hours per week
Contract term: Permanent.
The Directors are seeking to appoint a person with a strong background in finance with knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures and practices. The person appointed will be responsible for month end procedures across the trust and will hold a key role in liaising with external auditors/accountants during their visits. Working closely with the Trust Business Manager the Finance Manager will assist with the production of the annual accounts and other statutory returns whilst also line managing a small team of finance staff.
We formed as a Catholic Multi Academy Trust in September 2014. The Trust’s Academies are Christ the King Catholic Academy and St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy, both one form entry primary schools, and St. Mary’s Catholic Academy which is an 11-18 school. Christ the King and St. Mary’s Catholic Academies are co-located on the same site, in new or newly refurbished buildings, following a large capital programme. The parish church of Christ the King is also on the same site. St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Academy is just under three miles away across the town. It has also benefitted from significant capital investment. St Mary’s has recently been designated as a Research School and a CPD Centre of Excellence.
