Salary: £24,796 FTE
Hours: 7.30am - 8.30am and 3pm- 4pm
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: 1st September 2026
St Mary and St Peter Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable before school and after school worker to join our dedicated team. This is a wonderful opportunity to support children in a nurturing and welcoming school environment, helping to provide high-quality care before and after the school day.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of our wraparound provision, creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children aged 3-11. This includes supervising activities, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the wellbeing of all children in your care.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is warm, nurturing and committed to supporting children’s wellbeing
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
- Can plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities
- Works well as part of a team and uses their initiative
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and child protection
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
- Food hygiene and First Aid qualifications are desirable (training can be provided)
- A willingness to undertake relevant training
