Behaviour Officer job summary

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Behaviour Officer to join our team at our All Through School, Secondary Phase, Peninsula Campus. Under the direction of the Behaviour Manager, you will provide essential on-call support to students who need additional assistance in reaching their full potential, particularly in managing day-to-day behavioural challenges. This key role involves assisting in upholding high behavioural standards across the school to ensure that both teaching and learning can thrive.

About the Role

As our Behaviour Officer, your main responsibilities will include:

Assisting teaching staff to minimise disruption during lessons, ensuring a focused learning environment.

Responding to individual student behaviour issues in a timely and constructive manner.

Building strong, positive relationships with students, fostering trust and mutual respect.

Working closely with the Safeguarding Team and other relevant staff to ensure that students with additional needs receive the support they require to develop positive behaviours for learning.
