About You:

The Hart School is seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Officer to join our dedicated Pastoral Team, acting as a trusted advocate for our students and helping them realise their full potential. In this vital role, you will play a key part in promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing, offering consistent support, guidance, and practical strategies to help students manage their behaviour effectively. Working closely with the wider pastoral team, you will be an approachable presence throughout the school day, ready to listen, respond to challenges, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, proactive, and committed to never giving up on a young person.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Good qualifications; specifically GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
  • Strong Behaviour Support Experience; with confidence working with students who display challenging behaviour.
  • Effective Relationships; the ability to build strong and effective relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Reflective Practice; committed to self-evaluation and continuous improvement.
