Dear Applicant

Thank you for your interest in the post of Boys PE Teacher at Walton-le-Dale High School from 1st September 2022. I hope that our website www.waltonledale.lancs.sch.uk will give you a good overall “flavour” of the school.

The PE department has gone from strength to strength over recent years with a strong and stable team contributing significantly to the wider life of the school. We are seeking a strong teacher, focused on brilliant teaching and learning with excellent pedagogical and subject knowledge, to make a major contribution to the department over the coming years. A commitment to undertaking extra-curricular activities along with undertaking minibus training will be expected.

You will receive high quality support and encouragement from Governors, myself, the senior leadership team, and other middle leaders. If you feel you are up to this challenge and believe you have the same educational philosophy as us, we would welcome an application. If not, I wish you good luck in your future career.
