We are looking for brilliant playworker/s to support our provision: safe spaces where children can relax, feel happy and content to wind down, or run off steam, at either end of the school day.

We are keen to recruit the best people and can offer flexibility in the roles: you may be able to fit one of the clubs around your other commitments or wish to take on both.

Please state any preferences on your application.

We would love to hear from you if…

You’re passionate about play! Children follow directed learning during their school day, so our provision needs to be a chance for them to play their way, a fluid space where they can relax, have a snack or light meal and enjoy time with their friends. You’ll need confidence, good instincts, an approachable nature and the ability to multi-task.

Recently judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’ in all areas, our team is a strong one, having deliberately focussed on developing a curriculum which works and Ofsted praised as ‘inclusive’.

Proudly federated with each other and part of DNEAT, Caston and Parker’s are vibrant village primary schools with one-form entry and combined classes. We work together to achieve great outcomes, and love to celebrate successes along the way. Awarded ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted (Sept & Oct ’23) we are embarking on our most significant expansion in recent years: opening two new pre-school settings whilst investing in increased extra-curricular provision at either end of the school day.
