Breakfast Club Leader
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a part-time Breakfast Club Leader based at Ludwell Primary School on a fixed-term contract.
Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.45am until 8.45am, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Salary range: F9-F11 £26,409 - £27,711 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £2990-£3138 per annum).
Start date: 1st February 2025
End date: 23rd July 2025
We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible Breakfast Club Leader, to undertake the care of individuals or groups of children and support their learning and development before school.
Main Duties:
To supervise pupils in designated areas during the Breakfast Club time period
To maintain accurate records including registers, parental emergency contact details, medical and allergy information and emergency consent forms
To be responsible for the care, presentation, display and organisation of the space and resources
To meet and greet children and families as they arrive, ensuring a positive relationship with them both
To plan and co-ordinate games and activities to interest and stimulate the children (age and stage appropriate)
To record daily attendance (including time of arrival)
To submit food orders to the school kitchen
To promote the Breakfast Club to parents and carers e.g. in the newsletter
To ensure Breakfast Club provision is consistent with EYFS requirements
