Building Services Supervisor job summary
Are you looking to start a career in Facilities Management? Looking for a hands‑on role with plenty of variety and opportunities to learn? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Building Services Supervisor to join our busy Site Team. Basic DIY or gardening skills are helpful, though not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties will include:
- Keeping the site safe and secure, including key‑holder responsibilities, daily lock‑up and rota‑based opening
- Carrying out routine repairs and maintenance across the school
- Supporting with porterage tasks such as moving deliveries, furniture and equipment
- Responding to urgent issues and completing tasks from the site job book
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people

- A practical, flexible approach and a strong ‘can‑do’ attitude
- Someone who works well as part of a team
- Confidence to work independently when required
- Willingness to undertake further training

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
