Salary: Scale Point 15 (£10,509.85 actual) with a temporary honoraria of £349.35 (actual) to equate total temp salary to SCP 17 (£31,022 FTE) pending the outcome of Job Evaluation. The national pay award is pending.

Hours: 15 hours per week, worked over 2 days (working pattern to be discussed)

Start: As soon as possible

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months linked to a temporary working arrangement that will be reviewed at that point

We wish to appoint an experienced, passionate and highly organised Business Lead to support the effective day-to-day running of our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in the running and organisation of the School Office, liaising with the Trust Central Team and acting as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, visitors and the wider school community.

The successful candidate will:

have proven office and administrative experience and the ability to manage effective office systems;

be able to plan for and implement new initiatives to further improve the efficient running of the school office;

have the ability to manage their time effectively, use initiative and work accurately across competing priorities;

be professional, discreet, flexible and committed to providing excellent service to children, families, staff and visitors;

share and support the Catholic ethos, mission and values of St Gregory’s and Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust. Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust safeguards and protects its pupils and staff and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The successful applicant will be subject to the Trust’s safer recruitment procedures and appropriate pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check. An online search will be completed for all shortlisted candidates.
