Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 282 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions.

We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our friendly, supportive, and passionate team at Wilson Stuart School.
In this rewarding role, you will provide essential personal care to our students, including assistance with toileting and personal needs, always ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Beyond personal care, you will also play an important role in providing pastoral support—helping our pupils feel safe, valued, and understood throughout the school day.
No two days are the same, and you will be part of a team that celebrates individuality, encourages growth, and places kindness and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. Every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are highly desirable, as they will enable you to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, and support students’ overall wellbeing.

Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 257 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Mayfield School educates children and young people, who have a range of learning difficulties, between the ages of 3 and 19 and have approximately 300 students on roll.
