What skills and experience we're looking for
Ranskill Primary School is seeking to appoint a compassionate, patient and dedicated Care Assistant to provide individual support for a pupil with complex neurological and developmental needs and other pupils with differing needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals to ensure all pupils can access learning, participate fully in school life and achieve their full potential within a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.
Ranskill is an academy with new concepts and initiatives, which ensure a broad and engaging curriculum is provided for all, unlocking the potential within every child.

Term Time Only 39 Weeks
Detail of a 1-1 child who will need supporting;
The pupil has a neurological and developmental disorder and communicates using an eye-gaze communication system. They have significant mobility needs and require physical support throughout the school day. The pupil also experiences seizures, and the successful candidate will be required to follow the school's medical care plan and receive appropriate training to respond safely and confidently.
