Playworkers needed for an immediate start or for September 2026

We’d love you to join our supportive team at Menston Primary School’s highly‑regarded before and after school Care Club.

We have a range of permanent and fixed‑term (term‑time only) positions available.

Pay: Grade 2, SCP 3-4 (£12.85-£13.05 per hour) pay award pending

Who We're Looking For

You don’t need specific childcare qualifications or experience - just:

  • A caring, positive attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children
  • Experience working with primary-aged children (paid or voluntary) is desirable but not essential

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.

Working Hours

We have a variety of part‑time roles available. Applicants should be able to work at least two morning and/or afternoon sessions per week.

Morning sessions:

  • Start times: 7.15am, 7.45am or 8.00am
  • Finish: 8.45am or 9.00am

Afternoon sessions:

  • 3.00pm-5.30pm or 3.00pm-6.15pm

Specific days, session times and start dates will be confirmed with successful candidates.
