The role also includes responsibility for our Learning Resource Base (Library), creating an engaging and inclusive environment that promotes literacy, independent learning and a love of reading.
This is a rewarding and varied position for someone who is passionate about empowering young people and making a lasting difference to their futures.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will:
- Lead and deliver a high-quality, impartial careers programme for students in Years 7-11, inspiring ambition and supporting successful progression pathways.

- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers, colleges, universities and training providers to broaden opportunities for students.
- Coordinate meaningful encounters and experiences that help students understand the world of work and make informed decisions about their next steps.
- Manage, develop and promote the school library as a vibrant learning resource that supports literacy, inclusion and academic achievement.
- Monitor careers provision, maintain accurate data and reporting systems, and ensure compliance with statutory guidance and OFSTED expectations.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders to continually enhance the Academy's careers provision and student outcomes.
