Trinity High School & Sixth Form Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Careers, Information & Guidance Advisor to join our committed team. This is a key role supporting students from Years 9 to 13 as they explore future pathways, develop employability skills, and make informed decisions about their next steps.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students

  • To develop and deliver presentations and group learning through seminars, workshops and contribution to the tutorial programme in student career development from years 9 to 13

  • To work with staff in local colleges and external agencies to organise and implement events which support the career development, progression and employability skills of students at the school

  • To be a key contact for students college application forms and ensure all are completed (including ensuring a continued career path for our NEED students)

  • To share in the corporate responsibility for the education and well-being of all students at the school

  • To develop links with middle schools potentially providing a negotiated service for CIAG.

Working hours

Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:00

Friday: 08:00–15:30

(30‑minute unpaid lunch break)
