Trinity High School & Sixth Form Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Careers, Information & Guidance Advisor to join our committed team. This is a key role supporting students from Years 9 to 13 as they explore future pathways, develop employability skills, and make informed decisions about their next steps.
Key responsibilities
Provide impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students
To develop and deliver presentations and group learning through seminars, workshops and contribution to the tutorial programme in student career development from years 9 to 13
To work with staff in local colleges and external agencies to organise and implement events which support the career development, progression and employability skills of students at the school
To be a key contact for students college application forms and ensure all are completed (including ensuring a continued career path for our NEED students)
To share in the corporate responsibility for the education and well-being of all students at the school
To develop links with middle schools potentially providing a negotiated service for CIAG.
Working hours
Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:00
Friday: 08:00–15:30
(30‑minute unpaid lunch break)
